This is our BugE built by Tanner and Scott Smith, a father and son team. Tanner is 15 years old and is going to be a sophomore in High School. As a summer project, my son and I assembled our BugE. It took about 3 months to complete and an estimated 60-70 hours. We added a few items to our car. It has a stereo system and hydraulic struts that lift the fender pan. We also mounted our mirrors on the windscreen and mounted the windscreen with compression (expansion) nuts, instead of using Velcro to attach it to the vehicle. We also, as you can see, had it custom painted. The paint work was done by Full Blown Kustoms in Eugene, Oregon. (Thank you Ed Hubbs, it looks awesome!)The car was registered on July 27th and I am currently driving to run errands and back and forth to work occasionally. Tanner has to wait until this coming January to drive it when he turn 16. It is killing him having to wait, but he does plan on driving it to school when he is not riding his motorcycle. This was a fun project for both of us. Tanner did do most of the work on the car, but I did all of the wiring. This is a great vehicle and I hope a lot people get the chance to build one of these great cars.Scott Smith
